Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Direct the development and implementation of complex projects for large accounts. Analyze and assess clients technical needs to define solutions and design comprehensive project plans. Provide technical and administrative leadership for onshore/offshore teams, assign responsibilities, review work and direct computer/software engineering team efforts. Liaise with client to address objectives. Direct daily operations of engineering teams, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines. Assign and review the work of system analysts, programmers and other computer related workers. Control operational budget and expenditures.
